Bangla Stories is a new learning resource for young
people KS3 about migration, integration and life histories. It
emerged from a 3 year London School of Economics/University of Cambridge
project interviewing people who migrated from the state of Bengal after
Independence in 1947. 8 individuals tell their stories and explain
why people move from country to country. There is also a resource
pack for teachers. |

Building the Bridge |
Building the Bridge is a programme established to
improve understanding between communities, religions and cultures
building respect for each others' view and viewpoints and to combat the
many misconceptions of the Muslim community. This booklet explores
the experiences of ordinary individuals leading ordinary lives
explaining the important role that their faith plays in the way they
live their lives and the decisions that they make.
